CCNA Certification and Training Program 

  Achieving APTECH CCNA certification is the first step in preparing for a career in IT technologies. To earn CCNA certification, you pass one exam that covers a broad range of fundamentals for IT careers, based on the latest networking technologies, software development skills, and job roles.

The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching composite exam (200-125) is a 90-minute, 50–60 question assessment that is associated with the CCNA Routing and Switching certification. This exam tests a candidate's knowledge and skills related to network fundamentals, LAN switching technologies, IPv4 and IPv6 routing technologies, WAN technologies, infrastructure services, infrastructure security, and infrastructure management.

The following topics are general guidelines for the content likely to be included on the exam. However, other related topics may also appear on any specific delivery of the exam. In order to better reflect the contents of the exam and for clarity purposes, the guidelines below may change at any time without notice.

Overview

We designed the new CCNA program to prepare you for today’s associate-level job roles in IT technologies. CCNA now includes security and automation and programmability. The program has one certification that covers a broad range of fundamentals for IT careers, with one exam and one training course to help you prepare.

Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) v3.0 

The course provides the foundational knowledge of network layers 1-3 that are applicable to core routing and switching and introduces advanced technologies. Topics include the interactions and network functions of firewalls, wireless controllers and access points, along with additional focus on IPv6 and basic network security


Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2) v3.0 

The course provides the knowledge and skills needed to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot a small enterprise network. Key topics include QoS elements, virtualized and cloud services, along with controller types and tools that are available to support software defined network architectures. The onetime CCNA certification is valid for three years after which candidates need to re-establish their qualification. This is in view of the constantly changing technology and software upgrades.
